Job Description

Summary:

Dispenses medications to inpatients and outpatients, accurately monitoring or calculating doses for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patient; provides drug information and education to patients, physicians, nurses, other medical professionals, and the general public: supervises the operation of the Pharmacy daily, assists in the management of the department and are members of the cardiac and respiratory arrest team.

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

B. Experience

· Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· Current Texas State Board of Pharmacist License

*Orange County expected opening is October 23' if hired prior to October, candidates will be training at both Mid County and St.E locations until final transition to Orange.
