Clinical Documentation RN II - Clinical Documentation Job in Corpus Christi
Responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation. Facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through extensive interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other patient care givers and medical records coding staff to ensure that appropriate reimbursement is received for the level of service rendered to all patients with a DRG based payor.
CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline overlooking Corpus Christi Bay is the largest and foremost acute care medical facility in the region, with a full range of diagnostic and surgical specialty services in cardiac, cancer and stroke care. It is the leading emergency facility in the area and the only Level II Trauma Center in the Coastal Bend, staffed with physicians and nurses specially trained in emergency services.

- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years current clinical experience, Critical Care or ICU experience preferred.
- Previous clinical documentation specialist (ICD-9) experience preferred.
- Current Texas Nursing License
