Chaplain, Spiritual Care - Full Time Job in Lake Charles

Summary:

The Chaplain, certified provides spiritual services for patients and their families, particularly in times of spiritual distress brought on by life threatening or life altering medical diagnosis and procedures. 

Requirements:

· Master's Degree is Required by the Professional Organizations for Certification.

· Master's degree in theology, spirituality or counseling required. Minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education required.

· Certification by the National Catholic Chaplains (NACC) or Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) is required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
