The Change Management Consultant Role at CHRISTUS will be responsible for mapping the roles required to perform tasks in the new Infor ERP solution, to the positions (and people) at CHRISTUS. Role-to-position mapping requires process knowledge, business knowledge and the ability to facilitate across multiple workstreams.

Activities include identifying business roles, and conducting meetings/workshops to map the business roles identified by the process team to positions or people at CHRISTUS. The purpose of Change Management Consultant is to:

  • Define security profiles to grant appropriate, role-based access to system functionality and data
  • Identify appropriate role-based training to each individual end user
  • Ensure end users receive appropriate communications
  • Facilitate organizational design updates

Role mapping ensures each CHRISTUS associate receives proper system access, training, and communications throughout the project lifecycle. It also provides insights into where changes in organization structure / assignments may be warranted. Role mapping results are critical as they form the basis for training curriculum and security profiles and is the foundation for the HR position descriptions impacted by an ERP project.

Key Job Duties:

  • Obtain HR data for all positions within each functional area. Determine which position data (e.g., organizational area, job title, supervisor, name, responsibility, etc.) will be utilized during mapping process
  • Obtain a list of all relevant employees within their functional area who will need to be mapped for training / comms purposes from either HR or business leads
  • Outline and document all Roles that exist within the functional business area (with the perspective that one position may include multiple roles) and briefly summarize each role
  • Meet with all business leads to validate list of roles for their business area and review and finalize all role summaries
  • Assess locations (if determined necessary) for all roles for each functional area
  • Map all relevant employees within each functional area to previously validated list of roles
  • Conduct validation meetings to validate mappings
  • Refresh and revalidate role mapping data on a continual basis
  • Partner with Communications, Training, and Security Teams to provide latest role mapping data

Required Experience

  • Demonstrate at least 3+ Years of Change Management experience
  • At least 2+ Years of People Management / Organizational Design experience
  • Master's in Health Administration, Business, Information Systems, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or a related area of study
  • Understanding of system security and associate labor relations
  • Understanding of business process concepts: process ownership, process flow mapping, measurement and process optimization
  • Experience executing Role to Position Mapping in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated influence capabilities across the C-Suite and Business Department Leaders
  • Strong focus on diplomacy and collaboration, customer service and mitigating varying objectives
  • Experience to support the design, development, delivery and management of communications
  • The ability to provide input, capture and document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated skill running effective meetings
