Cardiac Rehab Specialist Job in Tyler
Summary:
The Cardiac Specialist works primarily in outpatient/inpatient Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab. The Cardiac Rehab Specialist will be responsible for prescribing exercise, cardiovascular risk factor modification education, and following AACVPR guidelines for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. The Cardiac Rehab Specialist will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. The Cardiac Rehab Specialist will be proficient in the assessment of patients and providing appropriate care and education.
Requirements:
- Certification/Licensure: BLS required. ACLS, ACSM, CCRP preferred at hire
- Education: MS in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology related field or BS in Kinesology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology related field with 2-3 years experience in Cardiac Rehab.
- Experience: 1-3 years in related field preferred
- EPIC Experience preferred
