Physician - OB/GYN in New Braunfels, TX

Position Summary:

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa seeks to employ one OB/GYN to their service line in San Antonio, TX.Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible and a Texas Medical License will be required before employment.

Practice Structure:

You will be joining an established practice currently consisting of1 MD and 1 NP. This is a replacement role partnering with an experienced physician to help manage patient volume across two locations: Downtown (at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital) and Southside.

Clinical Scope

• Mix: The practice is heavily OB-focused with a mix of GYN surgery.

• Volume: An established patient base allows for strong delivery volume immediately upon start.

• Support: You will have MFM support for high-risk consults, and the practice utilizes a Nurse Practitioner to handle the majority of well-woman exams, allowing you to focus on high-acuity work.

• Surgical: Access to both robotic and laparoscopic tools.

Schedule & Call

• Hours: Standard Monday–Friday clinic schedule with designated flexible administrative time.

• Call: Shared rotation with the OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) to ensure work-life balance.

• Facility: The hospital features aLevel IV NICU and 24/7 anesthesia availability. Academic opportunities to work with residents are available if desired.
