Physician - Family Medicine in Tyler, TX

Summary:

• Diagnose, treat, and provide preventive care to individuals and families across the lifespan.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Physician, using independent professional medical judgement, will perform professional medical services on a full-time basis, for which Physician is licensed and qualified to perform and as requested by the Employer.
• Accountable and responsible for providing timely and appropriate medical records coding and documentation related to the provision of medical services performed by Physician, in accordance with Employer’s policies.
• Participate in Employer’s coding and documentation education programs and respond to Employer’s routine coding and documentation monitoring and audits.
• Professional and administrative services provided in compliance with the doctrines, disciplines, laws, moral traditions, rules and regulations of the Roman Catholic Church, including the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services as promulgated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
• Perform educational, supervisory, and administrative services as are assigned related to the Clinic, including quality assurance, utilization review, risk management, and education programs.
• Participate in the development of clinical pathways and cost-reduction efforts.

Requirements:

Education requirements 

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Special Skills or Other Requirements

• Licensed or Eligible for Texas Medical License
