External Applicant Current Associate

Summary:

Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

• Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake
• Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.
• Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

· Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

· BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
