Office Assistant Lead - St Vincent Specialty Urology in Santa Fe, NM

Summary:

This position has a high degree of client interaction with minor clinical responsibilities. Responsible for client reception area, clerical tasks, data entry activities, benefits issuance changes as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates daily business operations of a clinic including monitoring patient registration and patient checkout
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures
• Assists with problem resolution and improvement of patient care
• Supports customer service standards, researches and reports customer issues and concerns, reviews and addresses patient survey results, under the guidance of the Clinic Manager/Associate Director/Director
• Responsible for the completion of/or assistance with daily reconciliation processes
• Reviews daily, weekly, monthly reports and reports trends to supervisor
• Responsible for the implementation of front-end processes
• Reviews and researches all information on hold reports to complete the billing process
• Resolves billing problems with patients and the CBO
• Advises patients on payment procedures/processes to ensure payments are collected timely
• Oversees inventory management
• Issues all check requests and purchase orders, reconciling orders received with original invoices
• Approves payment of invoices within approval limits
• Ensures the accuracy of time and attendance records; approves, monitors, and reports overtime
• Serves as backup to support clinic personnel when necessary
• Assist with insuring compliance with regulatory standards including JCAHO, OSHA, Conditions of Participation, PI, etc
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
