Neurodiagnostic Technologist Senior - Imaging Neurophys EEG in San Antonio, TX

Summary:

With minimum supervision performs EEG's, Nerve Conduction Studies, EMG's, and related exams within the department. The EEG tech is also responsible for the physician billing for the department. Assist physicians with preliminary reports and during interpretation. Assist in other areas of the department, when available, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Responsibilities:

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Under the supervision of the lab supervisor, performs EEG's evoked potential studies in the lab and at the bedside of critically ill patients in ICU.
• Under supervision, performs video/EEG monitoring, ambulatory monitoring, and less complicated intraoperative monitoring.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• High School Diploma required

Experience

• 3 – 5 years of experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• BLS required
