US, Ultrasound Technologist Registered - Full Time Job in Texarkana

Job Description

Summary:

With minimum supervision operates the ultrasound unit to provide accurate images for the diagnosis of disease states. Assist in other areas of the ultrasound department when available in a friendly and helpful manner.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program that qualifies candidate to sit for a qualified ultrasound technology board
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Registered ARDMS, CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or ARRT in sonography- must have hold at least one registry in any sonography discipline (a diagnostic modality, vascular, or echocardiography) or if a new grad, must be a be eligible to sit for the exam and must obtain license within the first year of employment
• Maintain current BLS certification.
