Ultrasound Technologist, Radiology OP, Mid County - PRN Job in Port Arthur

Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for communication with patients, Radiologists and referring physicians. Performs sonography procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. Assists in preparing results of Ultrasound procedures. 

Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

• Sonography registry eligible with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or sonography registry eligible with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

B. Experience

• Twelve months actual full time internship or clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Must have active credentials with at least one of the following registries: ARDMS (RDMS), ARRT (S). Will consider registry eligible with registry or certification achievement within twenty four months of hire date. Must be CPR certified.

• Current AHA CPR certification
