Registered Respiratory Therapist-Respiratory Resp Therapy Job in Shreveport

Summary:

Perform all aspects of Respiratory Therapy including but not limited to Ventilator Care, Blood Gas collecting and interpretation, perform Hand Held Neb, MDIs, CPT, administer oxygen and other medical gases, participate in transports of all age group that require respiratory assistants. Perform any reasonable task that is asked by a supervisor. And to perform within the limits of the department Scope of Service as prescribed by the Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in Critical Care environment preferred
• Current RRT Licensure from the NBRC and LRT Licensure from the LA board of Medical Examiners
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NRP if working in the NICU
