POSITION SUMMARY:

Acts as a liaison to physicians employed by CHRISTUS Clinic Management Services (CCMS) entities to navigate the complexities of human resources, physician recruiting, medical staff services, payer credentialing, and physician practice management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works closely with all CCMS entity executives, administrative, and physician leadership to ensure effective onboarding and integration of new and existing clinicians.
  • Establishes and maintains Clinician onboarding that provides efficient and timely transition of clinicians into CCMS entities.
  • Maintains ongoing relationships and engagement with all CCMS entity Clinicians throughout their employment.
  • Manages relationships with all departments involved in clinician employment, including, but not limited to, recruiting, human resources, medical staff services department, managed care relations, and quality.
  • Provides timely follow up and feedback to Clinicians regarding defined issues.
  • Coordinates meetings and introductions between Clinicians and staff at each level, including, but not limited to, human resources, medical staff services department, managed care relations, and quality.
  • Maintains good rapport and collaborative relationships. Approaches conflict in a constructive manner.
  • Helps to identify problems and offer solutions, and participates in the solution.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. Demonstrates reliability and dependability by reporting to work when scheduled.
    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    A. Education/Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • Minimum of five years' experience with a strong understanding of medical practice operations and management.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
    • Must be able to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitious tasks
    • 45 wpm typing required
    • Computer/basic keyboard skills, telephone skills, and general knowledge of office machines including printers, fax, copier, scanner, and credit card machines required
    • Proficient in office automation applications such as Microsoft Office (preferred)
    • Ability to read, comprehend and retain information
    B. Experience
    • Five to Seven years of experience in sales or physician relations position(s). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to travel and maintain a flexible schedule.
