Summary:

Personal Trainer provides customized fitness programs that include education and guidance on the cardiovascular exercise and resistance training, with general advice on proper food intake and supplementation. Approximately 20 hours a week (5 days/week).

Requirements:

• A.Education/Skills

  ·High School Diploma or Equivalent

  ·General computer skills, use of software to clock time and education training.

  ·The ability to work with age-specific, multi-level populations.

  B.Experience

  ·Experience level is determined based on education and experience.

  C.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  ·Current Group Exercise or Personal Training certification from a Nationally Recognized Source: ACE, AFFA, ACSM, NSCA, NASM, COOPER, AFFA, TRX, AEA, Aquatics Cert., NETA, SCW

  ·Specialized group fitness certification: Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, PiYo, TurboKick, etc.

  ·BLS Certification: Basic Life Support
