Ensures that established safety procedures are followed throughout the transportation process. Monitors the proper functioning of all transportation equipment on a daily basis. Knowledge of patient safety, basic transportation equipment, infection control processes, clerical skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and good communication and organizational skills.
CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline overlooking Corpus Christi Bay is the largest and foremost acute care medical facility in the region, with a full range of diagnostic and surgical specialty services in cardiac, cancer and stroke care. - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with patient transportation, equipment maintenance or other patient care related activities preferred.
- CPR (American Heart Association)
