In alignment with CHRISTUS St. Vincent Nursing Leadership Team, the Nurse Recruitment Specialistsupports the recruiting efforts of CHRISTUS St. Vincent by establishing and maintaining central coordination of nurse recruitment, onboarding and retention functions. This position works in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team through all phases of nurse recruitment such as recruitment, screening, interview coordination, onboarding and retention activities.
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current New Mexico Board of Nurse Licensure.
SKILLS: Positive rapport with nurses and other healthcare providers. Computer skills to include proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and exhibits effective communication skills. Ability to manage several priorities at once and to work in a team setting. Contract creation and contract management skills.
EXPERIENCE: Three years of professional level experience as a Recruiter either in a hospital or a recruiting agency, with a minimum of one year of recruiting registered nurses. Prefer all three years of experience in recruiting registered nurses.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
-Responsible to: Chief Nursing Executive with dotted line reporting to Talent Acquisition Manager

Works in clean, well lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies. May involve some limited travel. Requires knowledge of general safety standards. Work is primarily conducted in an office/conference room setting; however, it may also involve some limited travel to include career fairs at conferences, schools, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel and/or to move around the hospital. May include sitting for long periods of time. Requires the ability to speak clearly, listen effectively, and develop and communicate written materials. Use of sound ergonomic principles.
