Summary:

Surgery Technician Lead, under the guidance of the Perioperative Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of the patient who comes under his/her care. Included within this assignment is the responsibility for insuring effective communication with the other O.R. team members, the patient, physician/surgeons, anesthesia providers and other ancillary departments. The Surgery Technician is trained in the delivery of age appropriate care by hospital policy. Performs assigned tasks in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy, values, standards, policies and procedures. Additional, the Surgical Tech Lead is responsible for the coordination of care, supplies, and equipment involved in the designated service line(s)

Requirements:

• One-year recent experience working in assigned service line setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to accept call as required.
• Current BLS Card
• Surgical Technician- Certification Preferred
