POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Technical Support Specialist is primarily responsible for the day to day operations around equipment received and managed by the Information Systems Department. This includes following documentation and processes around handling of equipment as well as improvement and development of documentation and processes. This position is responsible for fully understanding the lifecycle of equipment managed by Information Systems and adherence to intake, stocking, deployment, and disposition of said equipment. This position works with other positions within the department to ensure prepare handling of equipment occurs and new staff are trained on proper processes. Additional responsibilities include assessing equipment needs for projects and coordinating tasks around equipment deployment to provide a successful solution for customers.
