The Enterprise Architect in collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and

Business Relationship Management (BRM) teams and will design and maintain an Enterprise

Architecture (EA) model for the entire CHRISTUS Health System. This EA model will capture the current relationships between all functional domains to help provide a new level of agility to the organization when maintaining, exploring, and changing technologies. The Enterprise Architect must think holistically and futuristically in the design of systems architecture. In addition, this position will participate in a multi-disciplinary team to provide technical feedback to the COEs and BRM leaders to ensure potential solutions/systems are in line with core capabilities and current infrastructure. Must be able to synthesize and translate business requests into solution-oriented designs to address business challenges within Healthcare as well as insure that these fit into the technology architecture and strategy for CHRISTUS Health. This position will provide these skills for both United States and LATAM ministries.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and maintains business system and corporate architectures
  • Participates in a multi-disciplinary team to provide guidance and design for all new technology/solutions
  • Provides in-depth technical and systems consultation to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture
  • Develop and maintain systems/solutions architecture roadmap based on business strategic initiatives

  • Successfully hand of design artifacts to the solutions architecture team to fulfill their roles within the project management lifecycle

· Education/Skills
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Health Care, Business or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • Ten years of increasingly responsible experience in large corporate environments with a wide variety of Information Management applications and technologies recommended that support organizations spanning multiple countries. Also requires specialized procedural knowledge of systems design, hardware/software, operations, problem resolution, system documentation, and project management.
    • Must include at least three years hands-on experience with similar hardware/software/systems in use at CHRISTUS Health.
    • Prior experience in a health care systems environment is required
