POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate engagement and recognition analyst contributes to the coordination and implementation of Associate engagement and recognition strategies consistent with CHRISTUS Health's mission, core values, and business strategy. He or she manages and analyzes data from a wide range of sources and organizes it in a way that is readily presentable to key stakeholders. He or she, along with the engagement and recognition team, drives a culture of recognition and rewards to further enhance Associate engagement. He or she collaborates with stakeholders and leaders across the organization as needed on initiatives related to Associate engagement and recognition.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze and interpret Associate engagement and recognition data to inform initiatives, maximize impact, and evaluate success.
  • Monitor trends in Associate engagement and recognition data.
  • Use data to recommend engagement and recognition solutions consistent with business realities.
  • Conduct studies to examine the relationship between engagement, recognition, and other organizational indicators, such as patient satisfaction, turnover, etc.
  • Creates presentations and other materials for use when presenting engagement survey results or for ministry-specific requests.
  • Assist in the creation of a work environment and organization culture that is characterized by high Associate engagement and meaningful recognition and aligns with CHRISTUS Health's values and mission.
  • Assist the Manager of Engagement & Recognition with communication strategies for engagement and recognition.
  • Assist in coaching leaders and stakeholders on Associate engagement and recognition best practices.
  • Assist in Associate survey administration.
  • Organizes data and insights related to engagement and recognition initiatives according to knowledge management best practices.
  • Demonstrate a high attention-to-detail in the analysis and reporting of data as well as in communications.
  • Provide effective customer service by being courteous, polite and friendly at all times. Acknowledge customers timely in order to determine their need and help the customer resolve the issue or request. Participate in departmental programs that promote and deliver exceptional customer service. Ensuring the services that he/she provides contribute to the successful accomplishment of the primary mission of the department.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and human relationship skills.
  • Maintain and demonstrate excellent teamwork on assigned projects through actions and job performance.
  • Pursue professional growth and development through personal reading, seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the trends in his/her field of expertise.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Manager of Engagement & Recognition.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS A. Education/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology, statistics, or related field strongly preferred. Relevant comparable experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, human resources, learning and development, business administration or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

 B. Experience

  • Three or more years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Management disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with leaders at different levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in getting things done through networking and collaboration in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of content area including theory, methods and concepts. Ability to transform theory, methods, and concepts into understandable, tangible designs and measurable results.
