Responsible for the effective management of Integrated Service Departments (Housekeeping, Grounds, Central Supply, Food Service, Plant Operations, Construction, Laundry, and Security. Serves as the Environment of Care Safety Officer for TMF Jacksonville, and chairs the EOC/Infection Control Committee, and serves on the Patient Safety Advisory Committee. Serves as Co-Chairman of the Community Emergency Response Team for Cherokee County. Plan, coordinates and implements the annual county-wide disaster drill. Represents TMF Jacksonville on the Regional Advisory Council Area G. Participates in the Administrator On-Call rotation. Responsible for Joint Commission compliance in Environment of Care, Life Safety, and Emergency Preparedness. Coordinates & participates in all community events and all internal events. Assists the Jacksonville Fitness Center with all maintenance & housekeeping issues. Responsible for budget & financial operations of assigned departments. Responsible for customer service hospital-wide, serves on the Customer Service Committee. Works closely with Infection Control to ensure continual preparedness for outbreaks (i.e., Ebola, pandemic flu, etc.).
  • Food Manager's License

  • Emergency Preparedness Courses for Incident Command preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 5-Years Plant Operations & Housekeeping experience. At least 2 years management experience.
  • Strong safety and regulatory background and strong customer service skills preferred.
  • Environment of Care, Life Safety background. Experience in emergency preparedness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budgeting software, and building maintenance software.
  • Knowledge of Plant Services, maintenance and bio-medical equipment.
  • Strong supervisory skills, proven management capability, strong financial management skills. Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Must have excellent attention to details.
