Provides administrative support to CSVMG Director or designee. Provides all general office management functions including filling, copying, faxing, reception, and drafting correspondence. Performs ancillary duties related to payroll time keeping and ordering of office supplies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Computer training required. Bachelor degree preferred.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: CMOM required.

SKILLS:. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (E-mail, Scheduler, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) at intermediate to advanced level. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction; highly effective organizational skills, decision making and problem solving; effective communication and excellent customer relations skills; competence in secretarial, word processing, phone etiquette, spelling and grammar. Ability to read and write in English required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Medical terminology preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Three years administrative/office experience required. Combination of education plus experience must equal at least five years. Previous experience in a hospital/health care setting preferred.

NATURE OF SUPERVISION:

-Responsible to: Director and Site Managers

Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. VDT exposure. Working hours are varied and are frequently longer than an 8-hour shift. Flexibility in starting and ending times is required due to unexpected changes in schedule and urgent work deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer terminal, using sound ergonomic principles. Extensive use of hands for writing and use of computer. Additionally, duties require ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop and reach. Moderate physical effort (able to lift/carry up to 15lbs.)
