Application Coordinator (AC) is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with EHR application design, build, validation, and implementation. ACs will also be responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of the software and serve as a bridge between end users and vendor implementation.
The AC will be knowledgeable about organizational policies, procedures and business operations, in the area of business they are representing and the functionality available in the application(s). This position requires knowledge, credibility and understanding of revenue cycle workflow.
The position serves as primary support contact for the EHR application; must have strong communication skills and ability to multi-task. Must demonstrate a good balance of operational experience, project management skills, and superb organization skills.
