The BRM/CoE Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing calendars, travel, and other functions of upper management within the BRM and COE divisions of Information Management. This individual must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support. The position requires a person who is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.

In addition to the administrative duties, this position will also be responsible for translating legal and other documents from Spanish to English as needed for the Latin America ministries, as well as interacting with our Latin American ministries to schedule meetings and for other purposes. Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English languages.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translation: Translate Spanish documents to English for ease of decision making within the IM organization.
  • Administrative:
    • Arrange, organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executive leaders within BRM and COE.
    • Respond appropriately to incoming calls
    • Initiate LATAM video and phone conferencing as needed
    • Provides confidential support and performs under limited supervision
    • Oversees and coordinates day-to-day activities for BRM and COE serving as the principle point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external contacts

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Skills

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English languages
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities

Experience

  • Previous experience in translating Spanish documents to English required
  • Prefer experience in translation of legal documents
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent work experience
  • BS degree in Business, Legal, or related field preferred
